"Must do" work is assigned work that all students are expected to complete. This work should amount to approximately 5 hours of learning per week, including the time it takes to read/learn expectations and complete the required tasks.
Most assigned work will be directly related to the Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening) and Math curriculum. Emphasis is on maintaining and strengthening core skills that build global success and will help students once we return to our regular schedule.
"Can do" work is not assigned. This is work that connects to the curriculum and is beneficial to student learning. It is CHOICE work that is meant to help students continue to progress in their learning and challenge them.
Choice work is connected to any part of the curriculum. It consists of Language Arts and Math but it also connects to any other material students are expected to learn at their level.
